How it began.

This company started when a gentleman who was returning from World War 2 followed a soldier friend home to Slater, Missouri. He started working for his friends family business installing appliances including Lennox central heating equipment, His name was George Gibbins and he had a passion for keeping people comfortable and happy. To this day that is our number one priority.

After several years working for others, along with his wife Marilyn, they finally decided to venture out on their own. In the summer of 1965, out of their own garage, George’s Heating & Cooling was established. George’s has been an Independently owned Lennox dealer since 1965. We are proud to be partnered with a company that has the same values and determination to make equipment some of the best in the industry. We are starting on the 4th generation and very proud of our roots and how we got to where we are today.
